I would like to take a break from promoting our music to tell you about this great new site I discovered. It is called TuneOrg and it is a brand new social network designed to connect musicians and producers! As a band in Los Angeles, we’ve had trouble finding bandmates, producers, or recording engineers for our projects. Usually we would resort to posting on Craigslist and sifting through all the random people on there. Now there is a place where we can connect with musicians/producers and listen to actual audio samples of their work. TuneOrg seems like Facebook at first in that you can upload pictures, fill out a profile, and post status updates. However, you can also upload your songs, post on a Jobs Board, browse through the members based on genre/location, and participate in music forums. It’s a great site that we feel will continue to grow and may end up being the MySpace Music of the modern era!
Went out to a bar last night. Got drunk and hit the dancefloor and pranced around like a complete idiot for an hour. I was still cognizant enough to listen to what was playing on the speakers. Alot of 70′s funk, Daft Punk, horns, Bruno Mars, happy-go-lucky, let’s have a good time stuff. We are now officially in another disco era. I like some of the tunes… but I’m starting to wonder if everything is cyclical. If that’s the case.. will punk come back soon?
PS We aren’t dead.. I’m writing some songs and we’ll hit the road on 2014 to push our album. Stay tuned!
On September 6th, 2013 A.D., The See Organization released their first full length LP, Ultraviolence. You can purchase the album off of iTunes, Amazon, and a whole lot of other places that would be too tedious to name. You can also stream the album off of Spotify! So fans… the wait is over!
What else have we been up to lately? Going back to the drawing board and working on new music as well as preparing the lineup to play some shows all around LA. Stay tuned on this website for all the latest announcements. Peace!
Our second album (first full length LP) entitled Ultraviolence will be released on iTunes, Spotify, and all other places music can be purchased. This is a 10 track extravaganza encompassing all ranges of human emotion wrapped in digestable verse-chorus-verse musical soundscapes. All thanks to Dennis MacKaye, Travis Botts, and Shawn Robinson for helping to make this happen! While we are putting the finishing touches on our latest classic, check out the album cover art and YouTube preview below!
On March 10, 2013, the members of The See Organization heroically embarked to Clear Lake Studios in North Hollywood, CA and recorded drum and bass tracks for 13 hours. This will be the foundation of the band’s first full length album; a follow up to the legendary pop smash EP entitled Repetitive Sounds. The hard rock trio worked tirelessly with Dennis MacKaye, Grammy award-winning engineer extraordinaire. Stay on this website for more updates as the tracking for guitars, bass, and vocals get done in the next few weeks. Much thanks to the dedicated staff at Clear Lake Recording Studios for their tireless efforts. This was easily the best place The See Organization has ever recorded!
We just booked our next show at the Universal Bar and Grill in North Hollywood on March 7th at 11:00pm. The cost will be a measly $6 at the door. Small price to pay to have your world rocked. So come by, it’ll be a fun time.
